The Festival of Progressive Abundance is offering current Students and anyone under the age of 25 the opportunity to apply for a hybrid Free Ticket and Volunteering Track!

Volunteers will:

• Receive a scholarship for a free ticket to attend 50% of The Festival as an invited guest!

• Commit to being available to volunteer for 50% of The Festival, with the timing assigned by the Festival.

• Be available for simple tasks like checking tickets, distributing materials, answering or escalating questions, or simple last-minute errands with no out-of-pocket expenses.

• Likely still be able to listen to talks and participate socially in The Festival during most volunteering tasks.

• Be invited to a special Career Opportunities Workshop hosted by Students for Abundance and taught by Students for Abundance founder and Niskanen Center Abundance Coordinator Matthew Meyers.

• Receive official roles that they can put on their resume.

• Be invited to add their headshot and bio to our website.

• Be invited to forge relationships with The Festival of Progressive Abundance, YIMBY Democrats for America, and Festival Producing Partners that can lead to further collaborations, mentorship, or recommendations.

Our goal is to welcome as many Students and guests under the age of 25 to participate in The Festival as possible, in ways that can help launch you! We consider you to be a vital part of the Festival Producing Team, and hope that we will be able to work together to leverage this opportunity to connect you with key Festival guests, Festival speakers and VIPs, and Festival Producing Partner Organizations. We would happily support you adding any your participation to your resume, and we intend to be an ongoing resource for you to recommend and support you!

We are interested in accommodating as many volunteers as possible as quickly as possible, so there is no need to overthink or fret about your answers — we’d love to get to know you briefly, and confirm your participation as soon as possible!
