Friday, January 30th, 2026
Door open at 6:00pm
, with drinks available for purchase.

The Festival of Progressive Abundance kicks off at 7:00pm. Friday night begins at Cinevita with a rally feel. Inspired by high-energy evening events like the Democratic National Convention — as well as a Progressive challenge to the spectacle of CPAC and Talking Points USA — we’ll start by setting the table and throwing down the gauntlet. Friday evening focused on laying the foundation for the themes of our Festival: why Abundance is Progressive, urgent, and essential — and what a vision for the experience, affordability, and aesthetics of Progressive Abundance in America can look like. You’ll hear why we must build more homes, energy, and transit from rally speakers who represent major national YIMBY and Democratic organizations, students and Gen-Z, communities of color, Americans who have experienced homelessness, communities who need safe havens and sanctuaries, authors who can contextualize the progressive movement, innovators who are building a more Progressive future, and elected officials and policy-makers who are putting this vision into action — all leading up to a major keynote address.

When the clock strikes 9:00pm, it’s time to party — and meet your fellow champions for Progressive Abundance. We’ll have music, drinks, activations, networking, special performances, and tons of social time. At 11:00pm, it’s time to say goodnight and head home to rest up for the big weekend ahead!

Saturday, January 31st, 2026
Doors will open at 8:00am
, with plenty of complementary coffee and breakfast available for purchase. At 9:00am, we’ll kick off our biggest day of The Festival. You’ll hear from Members of Congress about why they are fighting for Progressive Abundance and how they’re approaching this work at the federal love, as well as how much they see and appreciate all the fighters in the room and what they need from us to be successful. Leaders from major organizations like YIMBY Action, Housing Action Coalition, YIMBY Democrats for America, California YIMBY, Abundant Housing Los Angeles, YIMBY Democrats of San Diego County, Streets for All, Project Liberal, Westside for Everyone, Dream for America, Coalition PAC, Students for Abundance, and Student Homes Coalition will share their origin stories, how they changed the game in 2025, what they’ve got planned for 2026, and how you can be a transformative part of the action.

Much of Saturday morning and afternoon will be spent in focused breakout sessions across both the glorious Spiegeltent at Cinevita and in the plush seats and big screens of the movie theaters right next door at the brand-new Cinepolis. In sessions like these, we’ll focus on every aspect of Progressive Abundance, from lifting up homeless citizens to fighting alongside Gen-Z and students for more housing opportunity to supporting communities of color and building safe havens for LGBTQ+ Americans and real sanctuaries for immigrants and new Americans. We’ll explore what our transportation future can and should look like, and what changes to both our laws and costs we can make to put that into action. We’ll dive deep on why housing is crucial for fighting climate change and what Abundance policies we need to build more affordable green energy and nuclear power. You’ll hear from both pioneers and veterans of the YIMBY movement as well as longtime Democratic communications leader about how to harness public messaging for persuasion, and you’ll hear from entrepreneurs about the bright and affordable urbanist future they are creating.

Throughout the middle of the day, you’ll hear from Congressman Scott Peters and Congresswoman Laura Friedman on Progressive Abundance from sea to shining sea, meet Pod Save America’s Jon Lovett and hear why he’s so passionate about building homes to create more opportunity and affordability, and connect with pioneer for universal basic income and Special Advisor to California Governor Gavin Newsom Michael Tubbs about his vision for Abundance in the Golden State.

After an afternoon of more focused breakout sessions, we’ll gather for a deep case study on California Forever CEO Jan Sramek’s plans to build a new urbanist paradise in the San Francisco Bay: from working with elected officials and local communities to refine and develop plans, to empowering the large-scale construction of new homes, to designing better public transit and parks and amenities, to his vision for beautiful aesthetics, public experience design, family-friendly urbanism — in conversation with experts on these subjects from transit leaders to Imagineers to inventors to his inspirations.

After dinner, at 7:00pm, we’ll kick off our Saturday Night Rally. The format is a reprise of Friday’s Opening Night, with Saturday evening as the climactic moment of our Festival. Then, at 9:00pm, we’ll throw another party with special guests and performances until it’s time to head home at 11:00pm to prepare for the final day of The Festival of Progressive Abundance.

Sunday, February 1st, 2026
Doors will open at 8:00am
, with plenty of complementary coffee and breakfast available for purchase. At 9:00am, we’ll kick off our final day of The Festival and lock in to what we need to do and who you need to meet to emerge from this weekend in Los Angeles with a headful of steam, an abundance of new opportunities for careers and activism, and a game-changing accomplishment for our movement.

Much of the morning will be dedicated to our final focused breakout sessions. After lunch, we’ll gather together for an official Closing Ceremony for everyone who needs to fly back to the East Coast or across the country for work on Monday, where we’ll recap the learnings of The Festival and everything that’s coming next.

The party doesn’t stop there, however! The Festival continues until 8pm, and Sunday afternoon is all about connection and catalyzing. You’ll connect directly with elected officials, candidates for office, movement leaders, and fellow champions in between a case study on fighting for Abundance in Los Angeles where we’ll look at how some electeds are turning the tide in this crucial NIMBY stronghold in our biggest state. As they day goes on, we get more and more communal and casual, creating new relationships, friendships, and opportunities to personally deliver change. Finally, we’ll finish with a mixer before you head to dinner and we say goodbye at 8pm!

We’ll see you there!
