Analise Ortiz

Arizona State Senator Analise Ortiz proudly serves the people of Maryvale and Glendale as the State Senator of Legislative District 24. She is the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary and Elections committee. Ortiz previously served as State Representative of LD 24 from 2023-2025. As a representative, Ortiz played a key role in doubling affordable housing investments and championed policies to lower costs for Arizona families. 

Ortiz was born-and-raised in Arizona and is a daughter of educators. She graduated summa cum laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. Prior to serving in public office, Ortiz was an investigative journalist and a strategist at the American Civil Liberties Union where she worked on federal immigration reform and statewide criminal justice reform. Ortiz is most passionate about fighting for affordable housing, public education, and civil rights.
