John Erickson

John Erickson, Councilmember for West Hollywood, is running for the California State Senate in the 24th District after serving as the Mayor of West Hollywood, the Vice President of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, President of the ACLU of Southern California, National Board member of the National Organization for Women, and Chief of Staff for the Alliance for a Better Community, which advances the rights of the Latino community across Los Angeles County.

He has helped turn West Hollywood into a leader in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area on building new housing while also protecting tenants, taking care of aging residents, and helping folks suffering from homelessness find permanent housing and meaningful support.

John has been endorsed by leaders like California State Treasurer Fiona Ma and West Hollywood Mayor Chelsea Byers, as well as leading statewide organizations like the SEIU, CTA, and CFT.
